Brooklyn Dylan’s ‘Ghost’ Captures What Moving On Leaves Behind
Brooklyn Dylan, the rising pop-rock singer-songwriter behind the singles “Ghost” and “Bad Blood.”

A relationship can end without entirely disappearing.

Singer-songwriter Brooklyn Dylan explores that emotional contradiction on “Ghost,” her latest pop-rock single and another step in a career gaining momentum through radio, streaming, video and live appearances.

The Chicago-based artist has built her emerging identity around emotionally accessible songwriting that draws from personal experience rather than keeping it at a distance.

“Ghost” centers on memories that continue resurfacing after someone has ostensibly moved forward.

It is the kind of subject that turns private experience into something almost universal.

More than 46,000 streams have followed the release, while video promotion connected with the campaign has surpassed 1 million views.

Building on a Breakout

The release follows Dylan’s breakout single “Bad Blood,” which surpassed 1.7 million video views and climbed to No. 1 at Top 40 radio in 15 U.S. markets.

Dylan co-wrote the song, with Josh Monroy handling production.

That success provided a stronger national platform for an artist who had already been developing her craft from an early age.

Inspired in part by artists including Kelly Clarkson, Dylan began singing as a child.

Music later became a critical personal outlet after her house burned down.

During the disruption that followed, songwriting and performance helped Dylan process the experience and continue moving forward.

That emotional candor remains central to her current material.

A Growing National Audience

Dylan’s development has continued beyond streaming and radio.

She has performed at the Sundance Film Festival’s Music Lodge and attended the MusiCares Person of the Year event honoring Mariah Carey.

Those appearances are helping transform Dylan from a recording artist accumulating digital numbers into a performer gaining experience in major entertainment settings.

Represented by Big Mac Entertainment, Dylan is already preparing another single, “So What.”

For Dylan, the next phase appears to be about connecting individual milestones into a more complete artistic story.

“Bad Blood” demonstrated reach.

“Ghost” gives listeners a clearer sense of the emotional territory she wants to explore.

If her developing catalog continues combining pop accessibility with the experiences that shaped her, Brooklyn Dylan may be building something more durable than a single breakout moment.
